KNBC – Yom HaShoah at JFSLA

More than 80 years after the Holocaust, survivors and their families are still carrying memory forward. During the Days of Remembrance, established by Congress to honor Holocaust victims, many gathered at Café Europa on Fairfax to light candles and share personal stories of loss, survival, and resilience. One speaker recalled that out of about 12 family members, only 3 came home. Survivors like Maria Ross say they share these stories so the next generation will remember—and never forget.
