A Sweet Start to the New Year

What a way to welcome 5786! Our community invited Rosh Hashana in with music, laughter, and the warm spirit of community—relive the joy in these photos.

🍎 The week began with a Café Europa luncheon, featuring the soulful music by Jenny & Matti and a special shofar call by Rabbi Lebovitz.

🍯The next day, JFSLA hosted a community-wide luncheon with nearly 100 guests, highlighted by Leo Chelyapov & the Kings of Klezmer, another stirring shofar blast, and reflections from Rabbi Yisroel Hecht.
