Chair and Vice Chair Bios
Zach Gingold, Young Leader Chair
Zach has been an active member of Jewish Family Service LA (JFSLA) since 2017. Prior to becoming Chair of the Young Leaders Executive Committee, he held position as Finance Chair. His passion for community service and tikkun olam is rooted in the words of the Talmud; anyone who saves a life is as if he saved an entire world. He has also been an active voice for CPR education and training, and on behalf of the American Heart Association, unveiled the first hands-only kiosk for CPR training at the Los Angeles International Airport. Zach is proud to be part of JFS LA whose programs touch thousands of people across Los Angeles every year. Zach is a current associate at Westport Capital Partners, a real estate private equity firm. As a native Angeleno and an avid foodie, you’ll likely find him at a taco stand outside your local Ralphs’, walking his golden-doodle, Coco, or exploring a new part of his favorite city, Los Angeles.
Maggie Wolf, Young Leader Vice Chair
Maggie has been an active member of Jewish Family Service LA (JFSLA) since September 2020. Prior to her role as Vice Chair of the Young Leaders Executive Committee, she was instrumental in fundraising & events during the COVID pandemic. The grandchild of Holocaust survivors, a 3rd generation Angeleno, and sister to a young woman with special needs, Maggie’s passion for JFS is rooted in both commitment to service and a deep understanding of the need for social services. She is proud to be part of JFSLA and it’s mission to nurture the Los Angeles community and provide everyone safety, security, and a satisfying life on their own terms. Maggie is the Head of Business & Product Development at Una Malan, an LA-Based luxury furniture and design company. When she’s not in the office or working on the upcoming JFS cookbook, you’ll find her hosting yoga classes in her backyard, walking her Belgian Malinois, Gizmo, or roaming the aisles at Eataly with her fiancé as they endlessly debate what they should make for dinner tonight.
