West Hollywood Comprehensive Service Center (WHCSC)

In a luxurious park setting, the JFS { West Hollywood Comprehensive Service Center provides social and recreational services to enhance the well-being of older adults and younger disabled residents of the City of West Hollywood and their families.

Highly professional and caring staff provide support, counseling, resource coordination, care management, crisis intervention, advocacy and forms assistance in both Russian and English.

The Center offers our clients an energetic atmosphere teeming with recreational, physical and social activities. The WHCSC Activity Department offers a wide range of health and wellness services, such as yoga, tai chi, and balance classes, as well as other exciting activities such as bingo, Scrabble, Life Writing classes, Bridge, and many more. Our clients also enjoy attending our many field trips to places such as local art festivals, museums, concerts at the Hollywood Bowl! To learn more about our activities, please call 323.876.1717.

Eligible clients are also able to take advantage of the JFS { CONNECT program, a door-through-door transportation program that pairs an adult with a disability with a volunteer escort, creating meaningful relationships that promote independent living.

Social services for Nazi victims have been supported by a grant from the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
JFSLA receives funds from the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Holocaust Survivor Emergency Assistance Fund, administered by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany for the benefit of needy Jewish Nazi victims.
Funds have been provided by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany for the Emergency Assistance Program for Nazi Victims at the discretion of the United States District Court supervising the lawsuit In Re: Holocaust Victim Assets Litigation (Swiss Banks).
