Through our shelter service programs, JFS serves homeless
families as well as battered women and their children. Our shelters are
staffed by highly qualified professional staff, trained to deal with
the unique needs of our clients. JFS shelter residents, in our
emergency and transitional shelters, benefit from a wide array of other
services provided by JFS, including individual therapy, support groups,
case management, food and hunger services and vocational and legal
assistance. JFS operates a 24 hour hotline for women who are in all
stages of abusive relationships.
