Iranian immigrants can access services and receive information about available resources, in a culturally and linguistically sensitive manner by calling this special peer counseling telephone helpline. The telephone helpline is staffed by trained, and supervised by a social worker. Callers can be referred to other services in the agency. The Peer Counseling program has expanded its services through the Yaran Program, and has paraprofessionals available to provide on site services with other agencies in order to better serve the Farsi speaking community.
